Sunday Scaries — 003
A look at photographs that I made over the weekend. Some good, some not so good.
This series will continue to stay brief, but I wanted to start publishing a newsletter every Sunday evening that looks back at the previous week’s photographs that I made on the street. This week the streets have continued to be slow, and I’ve continued to be really busy. I was only able to get out today and shoot for a few hours.
It’s a weird time in Charleston when kids are going back to school and summer vacations are over, and college kids are moving back in. The streets are very quiet right now, even on the weekends. Finding interesting things and people while I’m out has been a bit of a struggle, but I’m really happy with these first two intakes. It made going out in this heat so worth it.
I was also able to add some more cowboys/cowgirls, maps, and sweaty people to the “self-assignment” collections.
Ok, let’s get into it…
Below are my favorite “intakes.” I’ll also share a handful of outtakes that maybe we’re close to working, but didn’t fully come together.
Outtakes
This set below was good enough to show you here in this newsletter, but they fall apart pretty quickly.
Thanks for looking.
I appreciate you subscribing and looking through these images. It means a lot. I’ll try and publish something like this every Sunday (as long as I go out on the street to make pictures).
I wanted to remind you that my limited-edition Cowboy Prints are for sale. Make sure to grab one if you’re into them!
